I searched high and low this year for "Dimples", my first doll, long since gone from my life. Facebook friends suffered through a multitude of pictures and "Is this her?" until one friend dating back to sixth grade finally found her! She needed some attention from a hair stylist--which the great gal who cuts my hair provided--and now she's safely tucked into a vintage baby buggy found by chance at an antique mall years ago. So here I am in the summer of 1946 holding the original Dimples! And here is the new/old Dimples, a Horsman brand doll dated from the 1930s.
